I went to see what is going on there on saturday. Well not much… I mean a lot of things, but it was jus a “usual” dog show. I saw a bunch of beautiful, cute dogs, some prettier than other, I realized that the accumulators from my photo camera are kinda on death row (3 sets died while I managed to make about 240) photos, so I will need to replace them sooner or later, was a nice obedience demonstration, and pretty much that was all.

Finally I managed to make a hard decision with my brown doberman PrezLee and the dog shows… He will not be a show dog. Well at least not for a while. I never liked to participate in this kind of comparing competitions, where everybody just wants his dog to be better than the next dog. I mean… why would I want to compare it with any other dog, when I am completely happy with him, don’t want to trade him for a better dog, and also don’t plan to give it to somebody else.

Anyway.. :) I like to go and see pretty dogs, so glad that other people are not like me.

I didn’t took the dog with me, because I am still not sure if I want to make my doberman a show dog or he will always remain a pet… Well he is a pet, but I have no idea to take him to dog shows. Anyway its complicated :D   I like to go and watch other dogs at dog shows, but somehow it not my way of being showing around the dog and listening to experts as they say whats good, or what is bad on the dog, what is according to the standard and what not… I won’t change the dog, I can do anything, I don’t want to breed with him, so I don’t really see the point. Just to spend money? I mean common, I buy gas and go out in the woods and walk all day instead…

But as I told, I like to go and be a viewer. I saw some pretty dogs, cute ones, “ugly” ones and I am falling in love again :D I mean I am in love, continuosly, but this dog show just remind me, how cute English Bull Terriers are. I saw 2 I liked a lot, and I had the opportunity to play a little with one. OMG!  This breed will be the next dog, I just need to move from the city …

Here are some pictures from the Dog Show – Turda 24.10.2009, I have no ideas about the results or anything statistical :D The weather was perfect :D , the dogs were beautiful and I was “free”  :D My doberman is at my parents place, in a village nearby the city, in very good hands, with his Saint Bernard pall to play all day. Today I am going to go and bring him home.

It is way to quiet in the house!
