VERY MUCH. More than that. Even more than that.Well if you want a happy dog, and
As I mentioned in a comment to somebody who asked… dobermans are very energic dogs. They need a lot of walking, and if they don’t get it, they become destructive. They are not “bad dogs”, but they definitely need to be busy, and tired to be “good dogs”… I mean to stay at his place and sleep while I have to work.
Luckily the weather is turning great, on Saturday we had a 1 hour walk where he had enough place to run, and we can go back to our “program” again, the 2-3 times a week huge walks where he can run as much as he needs.
Oh and time for rollerskating, and biking too!
If you want to be trully happy with the dog you have, try to get a breed that is like you. If you are a person who likes to rest a lot, don’t get a doberman, because you will make your life miserable. Get a “lazier” dog. Or… if you are lazy, get a doberman, only if you are willing to change your lifetstyle
definitely a doberman is a good companion for sports. We used to go running together, he can run for kilometers while I am on my bike, he can run after the car…
Choosing the right breed is very essential for a happy living together. It’s like.. you don’t buy a Ferrari for a family car!
