I have a strange feeling about this winter… I feel that we will have extremly hard days with my always “ready to go and do something” doberman. My dad usually tells that this dog runs on Duracell bateries, because everybody is on the floor, like “the other battery rabbits” and he still full of energy… And the bad thing is that I don’t really like winter, I am always cold and I hate to put hundreds of clots on me just to stay warm. So more likely the winterwalks will be short..
The other bad thing is that with his fur being so short, it can stay too log outside. So if we come to the village were he could run.. and play outside… I need to limit that to and take him back to the house from time to time…

The Saint Bernard on the other hand … likes to sleep in the RAIN. He has a place where he could go, but no… he just lays down into the mud, and rain and doesn’t even shiver 
… I am curios if he will ever use the dog house in the winter.. We don’t know yet, since its his first winter as an adult dog. Last year he was just a small puppy, and although daytime he spent a lot of time outside in the yard, he always slept in the house.
